Teen Council

ABOUT:

The Bravo! Vail Teen Council is comprised of current Music Makers Haciendo Música students between the ages of 12 -18. Teens that participate will have an opportunity to develop leadership and public speaking skills, volunteer at Bravo! Vail events, and provide valuable input to develop the growth of our programming and outreach.  

The Teen Council provides feedback and ideas to Bravo! Vail that will enhance the young student experience, including planning and hosting social events and performing at community outreach events. Council members also work with Education & Engagement staff to facilitate the Bravo! Vail Presto Club at select Orchestral Series concerts and the Instrument Petting Zoo at events during the Festival each summer. Teen Council members may also be called to represent Bravo! Vail at meetings or events.   

To be on The Teen Council, students must be: 

• Between the ages of 12-18   
• Committed to attending one meeting/event per month October-May.  
• Recommended by a teacher or community member 

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
