Piano & Violin Program

Bravo! Vail plays a unique role in the Vail Valley, not only inspiring and entertaining but also educating. Each spring, students of the After-School Piano and Violin Programs begin preparing for their recitals.  2020 was no exception. In lieu of performing together in physical space, students shared their talents virtually over eight final recitals in the spring and four in December. This approach not only kept students, families, and teachers engaged through the final weeks of the programs, it brought over 1,200 people together to celebrate their musical accomplishments.

"Our students spend 27 weeks of every scholastic year intensely studying their instruments, and the last month is when it all comes together for the recitals, so our goal was to continue with a sense of normalcy during this unprecedented time," said Brooklynn Phillips, Bravo! Vail's Director of Education & Engagement.

Bravo! Vail couldn't be more proud of each and every one of this year's students.

Piano & Violin Program

Bravo! Vail's After-School Piano & Violin Program offers children grades 2 through 12 the opportunity to learn fundamental musical concepts and instrument skills in 45-minute classes throughout the academic year. Class sizes are kept small to ensure individualized attention for each student and are taught by accomplished piano and violin teachers.

Summer Intensive

To compliment the Bravo! Vail After-School Piano and Violin Program, the Summer Intensive offers the most advanced young violin and piano players the opportunity to continue their education during the summer. Students attend a four-day camp, where they prepare solo works, chamber music, and compose a short piece to be performed on the final day. They also attend an orchestra rehearsal, meet and learn from performing artists, and receive complimentary tickets to attend a Bravo! Vail concert as a group!
